SRK Haute Horlogerie traces its DNA back more than 20 years when two life-long friends blended their expertise of luxury watches and financial markets to advise a variety of clients on how to build a collection aligned with blue-chip timepieces and financial returns. This proved successful and is part of SRK's investment model to this day.
Today, our members are part of an exclusive community where they are invited to curated events where we admire, learn and hear the stories of how and why pieces made it into their collection. We do this through experiential events that have been held across the globe at exclusive venues, private clubs or fine-dining restaurants. While many have told us to open our community and blast ourselves on social media, that isn't for us. Our philosophy is building a long-term relationship, creating a community of enthusiasts and investors from all walks of life and maintaining the discretion of our clients and collectors, hence why we adopt an invitation-only approach. Taking a phrase commonly used among watch enthusiasts, we're the "If you know, you know" partner for sourcing your rare timepieces.
At SRK, we often ask ourselves why we do this... The response has been the same the past 20 years - our mission is our passion. We believe strongly that watches can be pieces of art regardless of their value. The story they hold, the legacy that has been passed on, or simply the psychology behind owning a piece, all play into the joy we receive when working with clients. We have witnessed first-hand the smiles, gasps and tears of joy (from well-known public figures, to a father buying his daughter her first timepiece when she graduated from medical school) from a timepiece we have advised and sourced for their collection. These moments last and the relationships have been built that continue to this day.
Finally, at SRK, we are very conscious that alongside the world of luxury, there is a need to help and support others where owning a watch is not a priority. To that end, SRK is working alongside specific charities focused on the education and support of disadvantaged children, where a portion of our revenue from the circular economy is donated to charities we have identified, reviewed and believe in their approach to support children in impoverished conditions. We share further details of this with members of our community and this has become a bedrock of our company’s values.
