At the beating heart of this watch is an optimized Spiromax balance spring made of Silinvar; with patented terminal curve and inner boss, an innovation that ensures greater precision within mechanical watches.
The second innovation is a compliant (flexible) mechanism crafted from conventional horological steel used to set the second time zone in time-zone watches. To showcase these innovations, the manufacture is launching the sporty and elegant limited edition Aquanaut Travel Time Ref. 5650 Patek Philippe Advanced Research, the first timepiece to be endowed with both of these avant-garde developments.
