The Patek Philippe ref. 5531G-001 is a World Time Minute Repeater in 18K white gold with a hand-made Grand Feu cloisonné enamel dial showing a Belle Époque steamboat on Lake Geneva. First launched in 2017, the 5531 was the first minute repeater to always chime local time, so the chime follows whichever time zone is set. The 40.2 mm case has a hand-guilloched hobnail pattern on the caseband and repeater slide, with skeletonized lugs that leave the guilloché work visible. It is powered by the self-winding Calibre R 27 HU, with 452 parts, 45 jewels and a 22K gold micro-rotor, chiming on two classic gongs. The dial shows World Time for 24 cities with a 24-hour day and night ring. It comes on a blue-green alligator strap with a white gold fold-over clasp. This example is brand new from 2025 and comes as a full set with box and papers, available on request from SRK Haute Horlogerie.
